Michaila Hatty, Au.D
Dr. Michaila Hatty was born and raised in South Philadelphia. She received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland. Dr. Hatty was a member of Washington College’s women’s basketball team and was also a Student-Athlete Mentor. She went on to pursue her Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. During her time at Salus University, Dr. Hatty was a student mentor and the president of the Student Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Hatty completed her residency at University Physicians of Brooklyn/NY Audio Associates in Brooklyn, New York where she cared for patients of all ages via a multidisciplinary team made up of physicians, audiologists, and nurses. During her residency, Dr. Hatty acquired experience in multiple areas of the field of audiology but her favorite part of her job was helping her patients hear better through proper fitting of hearing aids.
Dr. Hatty is a licensed audiologist in the state of Pennsylvania and a member of the American Academy of Audiology. During her free time, she likes spending time with family and friends, going to the gym, and traveling.
